Modern Day Slavery
Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
Policy Statement
PGI Services LTD maintains a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, and all associated forms of corruption and bribery. We are fully committed to ensuring transparency within our operations and our supply chains, and to working ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings.
Modern slavery can manifest in various ways, including but not limited to:
- Forced labour under threat or coercion
- Ownership or control of individuals through abuse or threats
- Dehumanisation, where individuals are treated as property
- Physical constraints or restrictions on freedom of movement
Forms of modern slavery include debt bondage, child slavery, forced marriage, domestic servitude, and forced labour. Human trafficking involves recruiting, harboring, or transporting individuals through force, deception, or coercion for exploitative purposes.
We recognise that business practices can unintentionally contribute to modern slavery risks—for example, placing excessive demands on suppliers or negotiating prices that force subcontracting under unethical conditions.
PGI Services LTD is committed to ensuring that no forced labour is used across our operations or supply chains—from direct operations to all tiers of suppliers.
Responsibility for the Policy
The Board of Directors holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring compliance with this policy and our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Day-to-day responsibility lies with our Contracts Managers and OHSEQ Manager, who are best positioned to identify risks and respond to potential breaches in our operational and supply chain environments.
Compliance and Reporting
All employees, contractors, and suppliers working with PGI Services LTD are expected to:
- Read, understand, and comply with this policy
- Remain vigilant and report any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery
- Use internal channels—specifically reporting to the Contracts Manager or OHSEQ Manager—in confidence
We encourage open communication, and concerns will be treated seriously and handled sensitively.
An annual Modern Slavery Statement will be published to outline ongoing actions, improvements, and due diligence efforts related to this policy.
Communication and Awareness
This policy will be:
- Communicated to all new staff during onboarding
- Incorporated into all site inductions
- Shared with all subcontractors and supply chain partners
We will actively engage our partners and workforce to raise awareness of the human rights violations involved in modern slavery and promote shared responsibility for eradicating these practices.
PGI Services LTD is committed to being a responsible and ethical organisation. We will continuously review and improve our practices to combat slavery and trafficking in all its forms within our business and supply networks.
